Pandan Loaf Bread

I found this recipe by chance, it promised to be foolproof.  Not sure if it really is, but it sure works for me!  And it's super easy!

The bread turns out really really soft with a light flaky crust top! :)

  • Ingredients
  • 225ml warm water (45 C)
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 1tsp pandan extract
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 400g bread flour
  • 1 tsp salt

Method
  1. Put water, sugar and yeast in the pan of the bread machine. Let the yeast dissolve and foam for 10 minutes.
  2. Add pandan extract and stir well.
  3. Then add oil, flour and salt.
  4. Select menu 1 (Basic menu), 1kg, heavy crust.
